LA Apartments, a prominent and rapidly expanding multifamily company, is seeking a skilled bilingual Maintenance Coordinator. This role is essential to the daily operations of our maintenance department, involving the dispatch of maintenance requests, administrative duties, and direct coordination with tenants to ensure their needs are met promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatching:
- Receive and prioritize maintenance requests from tenants.
- Assign and dispatch maintenance technicians to appropriate tasks.
- Monitor and track the status of work orders to ensure timely completion.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain and update maintenance records and databases.
- Prepare and distribute maintenance schedules and reports.
- Assist in the procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Process invoices and assist with budget tracking.
Tenant Coordination:
- Communicate with tenants to schedule maintenance appointments.
- Provide updates to tenants on the status of their maintenance requests.
- Address and resolve tenant concerns related to maintenance issues.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to prioritize and plan maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless property operations.
- Support the maintenance team with any additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required).
- Previous experience in property management, maintenance coordination, or a related role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
