This position is based in the office located in Newbury Park, CA.

Overview

Become a Dispatcher for the HVAC division at Southland Heating and Air. In this role, you will serve as the primary communication link among customers, field technicians, and the operations team, facilitating timely service delivery and ensuring client satisfaction within a dynamic setting.

Work Schedule

• Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Saturday shifts as needed during peak seasons

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and assign service calls to field technicians in an efficient manner.
• Serve as the primary contact for field staff, customers, and management.
• Handle customer questions and resolve concerns promptly.
• Keep a close watch on schedules and make immediate changes to improve workflow.
• Keep precise records of service requests, timetables, and incidents.
• Coordinate emergency response activities when required.
• Guarantee optimal use of resources to satisfy operational needs.
• Collaborate with other departments to refine processes and enhance service quality.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of dispatching experience. Background in a call center environment is strongly desired.
• Experience in residential heating and air conditioning or a related service industry is beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Effective problem-solving skills with a focus on customer needs.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-moving environment while juggling several tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with basic computer applications and call center systems. Knowledge of Service Titan is an advantage.
