Private Swim Instructor – 805Lifeguard LLC
Part-Time / Flexible Schedule | Private Pools – Greater Conejo Valley and Ventura County
Do you enjoy helping others develop a love for the water? Join 805Lifeguard as a Private Swim Instructor and provide customized lessons in the comfort of your clients' own pools.
We are seeking experienced, patient, and energetic Private Swim Instructors to lead one-on-one and small-group swimming sessions at private residences and exclusive community pools throughout the greater Conejo Valley, Ventura County, and surrounding areas such as Lake Sherwood, North Ranch, Spanish Hills, Calabasas, Ventura, Malibu, Somis, Ojai, and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct private and semi-private swim lessons tailored to each client's age, skill level, and objectives
- Teach correct swimming techniques, water safety practices, and confidence-building activities
- Develop engaging, progressive lesson plans
- Uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism during every session
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of swim instruction or coaching experience (private lesson background preferred)
- Current CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (or willingness to obtain them – see details below)
- Strong swimming skills and comfort teaching individuals of all ages and abilities
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Professional, friendly attitude with excellent communication abilities
- Background check required
