Position Summary

Lead with intention and expand your skills with the support of Panera. As part of the bakery-cafe management team, you will oversee successful shifts, foster team growth, and uphold rigorous standards to ensure every guest has an exceptional experience. This role operates in a dynamic environment and requires a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding guest experiences by ensuring food quality, service excellence, and effective staff management.
• Cultivate meaningful connections to build a loyal customer base.
• Supervise, manage, and develop team members through coaching and motivation to achieve goals related to sales, speed, accuracy, and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with the recruitment and selection process for new hires.
• Train staff on and enforce food safety protocols.
• Promote a workplace culture centered on warmth, inclusion, growth, and trust.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• At least one year of restaurant management experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated capability to lead shifts while directing, motivating, coaching, and developing others in a high-pressure setting.
• ServSafe certification required, or the ability to obtain it.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 25 pounds.
• Capacity to stand and walk for durations of up to six hours.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and follow instructions in a noisy environment.
