Overview

YoBe produces protein smoothies sold in natural grocery stores across Southern California. As a rapidly expanding company, we are looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our manufacturing team in Van Nuys. This is an entry-level position offering potential for advancement as we grow nationwide.

Requirements

• Dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.
• Able to stand for an entire shift in a kitchen or production setting.
• Capable of carefully following directions and maintaining a steady work pace.
• Previous food handling experience is beneficial — however, we are willing to train the ideal candidate.

What You Will Do

1. Pouching and Filling: Fill each pouch to the required weight and remove oxygen before sealing. Target speed is one pouch every 20 seconds.
2. Cooking and Mixing: Prepare and blend product batches according to recipes to ensure uniform quality.
3. Casing and Boxing: Dry and pack filled pouches into individual cases and master cartons for distribution.
4. Cleaning and Sanitation: Keep the production area clean and safe by washing equipment between batches and performing a complete cleanup at the end of your shift.

Esta es una oportunidad inicial con posibilidades de crecimiento a medida que nos expandimos a nivel nacional.

Requisitos

• Puntual, confiable y orgulloso de su trabajo.
• Capaz de permanecer de pie durante un turno completo en un ambiente de cocina o producción.
• Habilidad para seguir instrucciones con cuidado y mantener un ritmo constante.
• Experiencia en manejo de alimentos es una ventaja, pero capacitamos a la persona adecuada.

Lo Que Harás

1. Llenado de Bolsas: Llenar cada bolsa al peso correcto y retirar el oxígeno antes de sellar. Ritmo objetivo: una unidad cada 20 segundos.
2. Cocción y Mezclado: Preparar y mezclar lotes de producto siguiendo las recetas para garantizar una calidad uniforme.
3. Embalaje y Encajado: Secar y empacar las bolsas llenas en cajas individuales y cajas maestras para su envío.
4. Limpieza y Sanitización: Mantener un ambiente de producción limpio y seguro lavando el equipo entre lotes y realizando una limpieza completa al final del turno.
