Hourly Wage: $21.45 - $23.00 (Additional Shift Differential Included)

Position Summary

Become part of OBE, a frontrunner in architectural glass and construction materials for influential projects across the globe. We are looking for a Powder Coat Painter to work the night shift. This position involves preparing, coating, and finishing metal components using powder coating methods to achieve superior quality and meet client specifications within a safe manufacturing setting.

Key Duties

• Clean, sand, and mask metal surfaces prior to coating.
• Operate powder coating machinery, such as spray guns and curing ovens.
• Apply powder coatings uniformly to attain the required finish and thickness.
• Examine coated parts for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Service and clean equipment to maintain peak performance.
• Adhere to safety procedures and keep the workspace tidy and orderly.
• Document and communicate production data, including material consumption.
• Help resolve coating issues and suggest improvements to processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Prior experience in powder coating or industrial painting is desirable.
• Familiarity with powder coating processes, materials, and tools.
• Capability to read and understand work orders and technical blueprints.
• Meticulous focus on detail and dedication to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for long periods.
• Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Manual dexterity, accuracy, and basic mechanical skills.
