Vinyl Wrap Installation Technician

Surf City Graphics is seeking an experienced Vinyl Wrap Installation Technician to become part of our team based in Huntington Beach.

Overview

Become a member of a premier wrap and print studio specializing in high-quality vehicle wraps, fleet graphics, wall murals, and bespoke installations. We are looking for a meticulous technician who takes pride in delivering flawless installations and contributing to a strong team environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute partial and full vehicle wrap installations.
• Apply vinyl graphics, decals, and lettering.
• Handle wall, window, and signage installations.
• Conduct thorough surface preparation and post-installation finishing.
• Precisely trim, align, and install graphics.
• Support material handling and shop workflow.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized.
• Welcome customers professionally and assist with general shop tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing vehicle wraps and vinyl graphics (required).
• Familiarity with wrap materials such as 3M, Avery, and similar brands.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to achieving clean, polished results.
• Capability to perform well in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills and a constructive outlook.
• Valid driver's license.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with color change wraps or paint protection film (PPF).
• Background in fleet installation projects.
• Proficiency using ladders, lifts, and large-format installation techniques.
• Basic knowledge of shop or production operations.
