Security Officer Positions

SPS is proud to hold national accreditation from the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Overview

Become a member of a nationally accredited security firm. Pay rates differ depending on the position and location.

Compensation

ON SITE SECURITY (Varies by locations)

• $18.00 to $18.50 per hour (Unarmed)
• $19.00 to $19.50 per hour (Armed)
• $20.00 to $20.50 per hour (Armed Supervisor)

SPECIFIC LOCATION

San Fernando Valley - 1 site
$20.00 to $21.00 per hour (Armed)

Requirements

• Must have dependable transportation.
• Must have flexible availability for work (including weekends).
• Current permit or license to work in security.
• Current driver's license / ID or passport.
• Current weapon or CCW permit (If applying for an armed position).
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Must be able to pass random drug screenings.
• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Ability to speak a second language is an advantage.
• Good driving record (if applying for patrol or supervision positions, no DUIs).
• Have a strong personality and be able to collaborate with others.
• Be open to learning new methods and technologies.

Required Documentation

• If you have served in the military, please provide your Military Form (DD214).
