Maintenance Technician / Handyman (San Gabriel Valley)

Overview

We are looking for a dependable and proactive Maintenance Technician or Handyman to support our expanding property management company. In this role, you will handle maintenance and repair duties across multiple residential properties located in the San Gabriel Valley. Pay is based on billable hours, with a steady flow of work available. The position begins as an independent contractor (1099), with the possibility of transitioning to a W-2 employee role after a probationary period.

Requirements

• At least 1 to 2 years of handyman or maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in general repairs such as plumbing, drywall, carpentry, and light electrical work.
• Experience with HVAC and landscaping is a bonus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be reliable, professional, and attentive to detail.
• Own tools for basic maintenance tasks are required.
• Reliable transportation is necessary, with mileage reimbursement provided.
• Availability to be on call as needed.
