What this site is

Nearbylifes is a public directory of local housing, job, and service listings, compiled from publicly posted classified advertisements. Our focus is a single state at a time, so the listings you see are geographically relevant instead of a national mixed feed. The site is operated by Nearbylifes Media Global.

How listings get here

Listings are collected from public classified ad sources, organized into categories such as apartments, rooms, jobs by trade, and local services, and republished in a cleaner, faster, mobile-friendly format. We do not create the ads, edit their wording beyond formatting, or participate in any transaction. Every listing links back to the information posted by its original advertiser.

What we add

Two things a raw classified feed does not give you:

• Computed market snapshots. On category pages we aggregate the listings themselves — the number currently visible, the price range and median drawn from prices named in listing titles, and the most-listed locations — so you can sanity-check any single ad against the local whole.
• Practical guidance. Each major category carries plain-language notes: how to verify a landlord before paying a deposit, how to check a contractor's state license, and how to spot common job-posting scams.

What we are not

We are not a marketplace, not a broker, and not a screening service. We do not verify advertisers, offer user accounts, host private messaging, or process payments. Listings may be added, changed, or removed at any time. Please read our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for the full picture.
