Company: Foundation Dental Specialists

Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $28 - $30 per hour base salary, plus performance bonuses

Who We Are:

At Foundation Dental Specialists, we are redefining the future of modern dental surgery. Based in Pasadena, CA, we are a leading specialty dental practice that provides expert care in periodontics, endodontics, and implant surgery. Supported by a committed team of over 20 professionals, we are recognized for our clinical excellence, warm patient interactions, and delivering an elevated experience for both our patients and referring doctors. As we expand, we are transforming specialty surgical care and changing lives.

The Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this critical, multi-faceted position, you will oversee the complete patient journey. You will provide exceptional customer service, warmly assisting patients from their initial scheduling and check-in through treatment acceptance, financial coordination, and billing. You will excel at educating patients about required treatments and confidently empowering them to commit to their oral health.

What You Will Do:

  • Patient Check-in and Intake: Warmly welcome patients, handle the check-in process, verify necessary information, and prepare patients for their appointments with care.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Effectively manage and enhance the patient schedule, ensuring a remarkably smooth patient flow and maximizing appointment capacity.
  • Patient Education and Advocacy: Act as a dedicated link between patients and the clinical team. Clearly and effectively explain treatment plans, benefits, and the critical importance of recommended hygiene procedures, ensuring all patient questions are thoroughly addressed.
  • Treatment Presentation and Acceptance: Present treatment options with strong confidence and conviction, compassionately addressing patient concerns to achieve a high rate of treatment acceptance.
  • Financial Management and Billing: Precisely manage all aspects of patient accounts, including presenting financial arrangements, discussing insurance benefits, processing claims and billing, and collecting patient balances.
  • Record Keeping and Team Collaboration: Maintain highly accurate and detailed patient records, treatment plans, and financial agreements while working seamlessly and collaboratively with the entire team.

Who You Are:

  • The Background: You have a proven history in high-ticket consultative sales or complex treatment coordination. You bring experience from specialized dentistry (e.g., prosthodontics, oral surgery) or elective, out-of-pocket medical fields (e.g., plastic surgery, premium MedSpas, dermatology, or LASIK centers).
  • The Energy: You bring high energy, a deeply positive attitude, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. You naturally foster patient understanding and have a remarkable ability to build deep rapport and trust from the first interaction.
  • The Operator: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and a natural multitasker. You smoothly manage the entire patient journey alongside daily administrative tasks, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • The Communicator: You have exceptional communication skills, allowing you to confidently present treatment options, clearly explain financial arrangements, and expertly guide patients through their insurance benefits.
