Overview
We are looking for a Personal Lines Account Manager to join our expanding team. We need someone capable of providing outstanding customer service. Are you interested in assisting a diverse array of clients with issues ranging from relatively straightforward to moderately complex? We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about cultivating client relationships, will collaborate with our team to meet objectives, constantly pursue improvement, and will showcase the value Gallagher can offer. This role involves managing a portfolio of personal lines accounts based in Woodland Hills, California.
How you will make an impact
- Responding to client phone and email inquiries regarding insurance billing, coverage, pricing, claims, cancellations, endorsements, inspections, documentation requests, issues, concerns, and similar matters.
- Maintaining complete and accurate client and policy data and documents within Gallagher and affiliated carrier systems.
- Supporting Gallagher's growth initiatives by contributing to key business outcomes such as client satisfaction, client retention, and taking responsibility for the overall customer experience.
- Promoting a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
- Delivering consistent, high-quality client service according to AJG operational standards and practices.
- Supporting the business priorities of the Personal Lines team within Gallagher Global Brokerage.
- Successfully operating in a team environment to manage a group of accounts with relatively simple servicing needs. Building rapport quickly with clients to identify their needs in a clear, confident, and friendly manner.
- Leveraging systems, services, and resources to execute work effectively and efficiently.
- Comfortably engaging others in a consultative, business-oriented discussion.
- Having a basic understanding of professional and industry standards and practices.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and skills quickly.
- Effectively managing and balancing multiple, sometimes competing, priorities.
About you
Required: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 8+ years of client service and/or claims management experience. Producer's License. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Appropriate licensing as required.
Preferred: Previous experience managing client relationships. Insurance knowledge. Personal Lines experience preferred. Behaviors: Works effectively in a team environment. Consistently delivers high-quality work in a timely manner. Builds rapport quickly with external clients. Effectively balances a strong client focus with maximizing operational efficiency. Quickly determines critical issues, detail-oriented. Solves problems quickly and focuses solutions on the root cause.
Compensation and benefits
