We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Processor with experience in the staffing industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle payroll processing, audit weekly payroll data, and ensure correct invoicing and data entry. This position requires strong Excel skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Compensation

• Pay range: $18-20 per hour, based on prior staffing payroll experience (rate is negotiable).

Hours

• Monday through Friday, with some overtime required.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and review weekly payroll accurately to maintain compliance and precision.
• Audit payroll records to find discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Create, review, and modify invoices as needed to ensure accuracy.
• Enter and manage payroll data with a high level of accuracy.
• Use Excel for payroll calculations, report generation, and data tracking.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and labor regulations.
• Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve any problems.
• Keep records and documentation organized and up to date.

Requirements

• Previous experience in payroll processing, ideally in a staffing or HR environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including formulas, data entry, and reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle sensitive payroll information confidentially.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
