The Opportunity

Habibi Law APC is seeking a Legal Assistant to work directly under our Senior Legal Assistant within a high-performance workers compensation defense practice.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an individual who already possesses a solid understanding of California workers compensation defense workflows and aims to enhance their execution within a structured, fast-growing firm.

What You Will Be Doing

• Processing EAMS filings with accuracy and efficiency.
• Organizing and summarizing medical records to support defense strategies.
• Preparing files for hearings with a trial-ready mindset.
• Maintaining files to audit-ready standards at all times.
• Assisting attorneys and senior staff in a high-volume defense environment.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Prior experience in California Workers Compensation DEFENSE.
• Working knowledge of EAMS.
• Experience managing active litigation files, not just administrative tasks.
• Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting.
