Overview

MV Transportation is looking for a Dispatcher to oversee daily route operations under the guidance of Dispatch Supervisors. This position requires adherence to client and company policies, regular interaction with drivers and clients, and coordination of tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and timely service. The starting hourly wage is $28.60.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of prior experience as a Dispatcher is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in Customer Service is preferred.
• Familiarity with Trapeze software.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-setting environment.
• Professional telephone etiquette and a strong dedication to customer service.
• Knowledge of the local service area is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive client calls and relay concerns to drivers and supervisors.
• Oversee radio communications, telephone lines, and on-road service quality.
• Foster positive employee morale and deliver excellent customer service.
• Conduct daily driver check-ins and check-outs.
• Allocate trips to drivers to maintain proper route coverage.
• Track and assess daily system performance.
• Notify Dispatch Supervisors or Managers about route cancellations or delays.
• Carry out any additional duties as required.
