Overview

Another Source is partnering with California State University, Long Beach to find an Executive Assistant for the University Relations and Development division. This position delivers strategic and administrative support to senior leaders, including the Vice President and Associate Vice Presidents, to help achieve the university's primary goals. The role comes with a salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year and includes full employer-paid benefits. Relocation assistance is available.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the main point of contact and liaison among the Vice President, senior leadership, teams, and external collaborators.
  • Manage the planning and execution of high-level meetings, travel arrangements, and events for the Vice President and Associate Vice Presidents.
  • Coordinate donor and prospect interactions, including outreach management, appointment scheduling, and material preparation.
  • Assist in overseeing donor relations for the Long Beach State Foundation Board, driving major projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Division Administrative Coordinator to maintain smooth administrative operations, office management, and guest services.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and four years of relevant professional experience.
  • At least five years of experience in an administrative support role is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules, prioritize multiple tasks, and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a diplomatic approach suitable for high-pressure environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, calendar management tools, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Proven project management and organizational abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
