Overview: A long-standing family-run construction business focused on custom residential projects is looking for a skilled accountant to collaborate directly with the company owner. This full-time role comes with an hourly rate of $31.25, paid holidays, and performance bonuses. The selected candidate will oversee all financial operations for a well-regarded firm generating annual revenues between $5 million and $10 million.

Primary Responsibilities

• Executing weekly payroll tasks.
• Handling supplier correspondence and office incoming calls.
• Overseeing project milestones and tracking profit and loss reports.
• Supervising accounts receivable processes.
• Managing accounts payable functions.
• Taking care of general office invoices and expenditures.

Requirements

• At least four years of accounting experience specifically within the construction sector.
• Competency in using QuickBooks accounting software.
• Practical knowledge of payroll processing.
• Experience with ledger balancing and financial oversight.
• Strong background in accounts receivable and accounts payable workflows.
• Spanish language proficiency is considered an asset.
