Full-Time Store Manager – Equipment Rental Yard

We are a locally owned equipment rental yard that serves contractors, landscapers, and homeowners. Our commitment is to reliable equipment, outstanding customer service, and a supportive team atmosphere.

We are looking for an experienced and driven Store Manager to manage daily operations, guide our team, and deliver superior customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee everyday operations of the rental yard and storefront
• Supervise, train, and schedule staff members, including drivers, mechanics, and counter personnel
• Ensure excellent customer service and address customer concerns
• Manage equipment availability, rentals, and return processes
• Work with the service team to keep the fleet in ready condition
• Monitor inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Track performance indicators, sales targets, and profitability
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of management experience, preferably in the rental industry or a related field
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience in equipment rental, construction, or a similar industry
• Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills, with rental software or POS systems considered a plus
• Valid driver's license
