---Overview
El Capitan Mobile Home Park, a manufactured home community with 76 spaces for residents of all ages located in El Cajon, is looking for a professional and well-organized Community Manager. This position involves managing daily operations, enforcing community rules, supervising on-site staff, and upholding high standards of property management. Strong communication, consistent enforcement of policies, and the ability to handle difficult interactions with professionalism are essential. Company housing is provided, and living on-site is required. The pay range is between $21 and $22 per hour, depending on experience.
---Requirements
Required:
- Willingness and ability to reside in company-provided housing.
- Three to five years of experience in residential property management.
- Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to remain clear, steady, and professional.
- Skill in maintaining appropriate boundaries and consistently applying policies.
- Background in supervising staff or managing teams.
- Familiarity with property management software such as Rent Manager, Yardi, AppFolio, or similar programs.
- Strong organizational, time management, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to stay calm and composed when dealing with challenging or sensitive matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
Preferred:
- An associate degree or equivalent education.
- Experience in manufactured housing or other property management settings.
- Background working with vendors, supervising staff, or overseeing community facilities.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk throughout the community to conduct inspections.
- Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
