Overview
Anchor Community Management is an HOA management company based in Monterey County. We are looking for a seasoned Community Association Manager to oversee a portfolio of community associations. This role demands outstanding organizational abilities, strong communication skills, and a professional yet modest demeanor. Given the need for regular engagement with local communities, we strongly prefer applicants living in or near Monterey County. This position offers a chance to grow within a small, expanding firm for the right individual.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience in HOA or Community Association Management is preferred.
- Proven skills in customer service, client relations, and creative problem-solving.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a professional attitude.
- High level of organization, meticulous attention to detail, and capacity to handle multiple tasks.
- A valid California driver’s license, evidence of auto insurance, and a dependable personal vehicle.
- Comfort with driving after dark and attending evening Board meetings (typically starting at 6:00 PM, not on weekends).
- Ability to join meetings either in person or via Zoom from a quiet, professional setting.
- Competence with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with HOA management software is a plus.
- A high school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor’s degree or CACM/CAI certifications are preferred.
