Overview

Pure Barre Carmel by the Sea is seeking an Assistant General Manager for a part-time, on-site role. This position is crucial for managing daily studio operations and delivering an outstanding experience for members and staff alike. Our studio focuses on low-impact, high-intensity workouts that combine ballet, Pilates, and strength training within a positive and empowering atmosphere. The role requires up to 30 hours per week, with flexible availability for evening and weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Proven experience in team leadership, operational management, and shift scheduling.
• Strong sales skills and background in membership retention and client interaction.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to motivate and guide a high-energy team in a demanding setting.
• Competence in administrative duties, such as ensuring compliance and improving studio workflows.
• Willingness to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Familiarity with fitness industry trends and experience in a group fitness or studio context is preferred.
• Background in fitness-related or management positions is considered a plus.
