Location: Vernon, CA

Overview

This role involves directing all daily warehouse, distribution, and logistics functions to ensure efficient operations, accurate inventory management, and a secure work environment. The yearly compensation ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, depending on qualifications, and the position reports to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse and Logistics Management: Oversee warehouse staff, monitor key performance indicators (on-time delivery, order accuracy, cost control, safety), and enhance processes for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping. Coordinate carrier schedules and route planning.
• Inventory and Quality Control: Achieve high inventory precision through regular cycle counts. Ensure adherence to food industry standards (GMP, HACCP, allergen controls) and collaborate with quality assurance on product holds and recalls.
• Safety and Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety regulations and all applicable food industry requirements.

Requirements

• At least five years of leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or general operations.
• Thorough understanding of distribution environments; preference for experience in the food or consumer packaged goods sector.
• Proven track record of guiding teams in a fast-paced operational setting.
• Skill in using warehouse management systems and creating operational reports.
• Strong communication and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
