Summer Seasonal Position | Tourism, Hospitality and Customer Experience
Hollywood Bus Tours is seeking an energetic, patient, and organized team member to support our expanding international guest experience this summer.
We are looking for someone who can calmly and confidently assist international guests with the audio guide process while supporting daily tour operations and Visitor Center activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with travelers from around the world, thrive in a fast-paced tourism environment, and desire a role that could evolve into a long-term, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist guests with downloading and setting up the audio guide app
- Help distribute, organize, sanitize, and manage headphones and devices
- Communicate clearly and patiently with international guests
- Support tour check-in operations and boarding preparation
- Assist with customer service and answering visitor questions
- Help recommend tours, attractions, and activities in Los Angeles
- Support sales of tours, tickets, and experiences
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of check-in and visitor center areas
- Work closely with drivers, guides, and office staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Troubleshoot simple guest technology issues calmly and professionally
Ideal Candidate:
- Friendly, calm, patient, and highly personable
- Bilingual or multilingual strongly preferred
- Comfortable communicating with international travelers
- Comfortable helping guests with smartphones and apps
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to multitask in a busy tourism environment
- Hospitality, tourism, retail, hotel, or customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable working weekends and holidays during the summer season
Languages That Are a Major Plus:
Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or other commonly spoken international languages.
Compensation:
- $19 to $21 per hour, depending on experience and languages spoken
