Overview

Los Angeles is expanding, yet city budgets have not kept pace with the demands of our Los Angeles Fire Department personnel. This initiative aims to secure a ballot measure that would increase the LAFD workforce, add crucial firefighters, and update facilities to address urban needs and enhance public safety. This is an opportunity for residents to support one another and contribute to a safer community.

Join our campaign team to gather thousands of signatures and advance this ballot measure. Canvassing involves direct, face-to-face interaction, engaging discussions, and motivating individuals to act on significant issues.

Requirements

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Upon employment, all hires must present original, unexpired documents from the List of Acceptable Documents for I-9 verification.

Position Details

• Petition Circulator roles begin at $24 per hour.
• Leadership roles begin at $26 per hour.
• Benefits include overtime compensation, driver incentives, shift bonuses, paid training, sick leave, and referral bonuses for friends.
• Fluent bilingual speakers may receive an additional $2 per hour.
• This position provides valuable experience in leadership, communication, advocacy, community outreach, campaign work, public policy, and social enterprise.
