Pet Care Provider - Los Angeles Region

Position Overview

Become a member of our pet care team and enjoy the freedom to create your own schedule while working with animals in your home and local area. This position involves looking after pets when their owners are away. The typical compensation is $24 per hour.

Role Details

Assignments generally require visiting a client's residence 1 to 2 times daily for a period of 1 to 14 days in a row. Each visit lasts between 20 and 90 minutes. Duties include feeding animals, walking dogs, tidying up, watering plants, and retrieving mail. Opportunities for occasional overnight stays and boarding pets in your own home are also available.

Qualifications

• Must have a genuine enthusiasm and solid knowledge of caring for cats, dogs, and other animals.
• Require dependable transportation (preferably pet-friendly), along with a valid driver's license and current insurance.
• Must reply quickly to emails and text messages.
• Able to commit to working with the company at least until November 2026.
• Available to work on weekends and holidays.
• Willing to handle visits scheduled for mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight hours.
• Must successfully pass a criminal and background check.
• Previous experience giving medication to pets is a plus.
