Study Smart Tutors is a college and career access organization that works with partners to promote educational equity, access, and success by offering a wide variety of tools for students, families, and educators. We provide numerous college access courses at no cost to students or their families. We achieve this by collaborating with schools, outreach programs, and other college and career access organizations to deliver efficient and effective college and career access programming and classroom-based test preparation.

Job Responsibilities

• Subjects to be taught: Math and ELA
• Provide tutoring support to small and large groups of students.
• Tutors will have access to information about class assignments.
• Adapt to new materials and teaching strategies.
• Maintain consistent communication with Study Smart Tutors staff.
• Partner with Study Smart Tutors' Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies to all students.

Qualifications

• Must hold a completed 4-year degree.
• Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired.
• In-person availability is required.
• Scheduled hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM PST.
• Complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting based on location.

Salary and Benefits

• Excellent rate of pay: $40 an hour.
• Paid Onboarding/Training/Preparation/Support: $22.00 an hour.
