Position Description

Epic Special Education Staffing is collaborating with an outstanding school district that is seeking a contract Special Education Teacher for the 2025 - 2026 ESY school year.

• Duration: 6/15/2026 - 07/28/2026
• Location: Chatsworth, CA
• Location Type: On-Site
• Schedule: Full Time
• Hours: 40.00
• Grade/Age Levels: Elementary School; High School; Kindergarten; Middle School; Pre-K
• Weekly Pay Range: $49.50 – $56.93 per hour on a local contract

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a Special Education Teacher include:

• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Special Education Teacher within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid Special Education Teacher credential/license or in process in the state of practice
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
