Position Overview
Karma Dog Training, a nationally recognized dog training company established in 2005, is broadening its services to Idyllwild and the adjacent mountain communities.
We are looking for a compassionate, stable, and dependable individual who loves dogs to join our team as an independent contractor Dog Trainer and Behavior Specialist.
This is not merely a job. It is meaningful work that helps dogs and their families enjoy better lives together.
About the Role
You will work directly with clients in their homes across Idyllwild, Pine Cove, Mountain Center, and nearby areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Puppy training and early development
- Basic obedience and communication skills
- Behavior modification for issues such as anxiety and reactivity
- Guiding dog owners in building calm, trusting relationships with their pets
This role involves as much interaction with people as it does with dogs.
