Family Care Network, Inc. is looking for caring individuals to serve as Therapeutic Parents through its dedicated Therapeutic Parent Program. This position provides a valuable chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people who have experienced trauma and hardship.

Program Overview

• Purpose: Deliver family-centered treatment to foster youth with significant needs, aiming to avoid placements in group homes or psychiatric facilities.
• Role: Therapeutic Parents offer individualized support, apply behavioral strategies, and work alongside a behavioral health treatment team.
• Support: Includes weekly clinical supervision and enhanced financial compensation.

Reimbursement

• $200 per night for each child placed in your home.
• $55 per day for completed Medi-Cal case notes.
• $100 per night when no child is placed.

Requirements

• Experience working with youth who have high needs.
• Ability to work full-time as a stay-at-home foster parent.
• Reside in San Luis Obispo County with reliable transportation.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic home environment with a dedicated bedroom for the child.
• Pass background checks and complete all required training.
• Collaborate effectively within a team setting.
