Study Smart Tutors – Math and ELA Tutor

Overview

Study Smart Tutors is an organization focused on college and career readiness, aiming to advance educational equity and student achievement. We are currently looking for tutors to deliver in-person instruction in Mathematics and English Language Arts. This role offers a competitive rate of $40 per hour and includes paid training.

Requirements

• Must possess a completed bachelor's degree.
• In-person attendance is mandatory.
• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time.
• Must complete and clear a background check, which may involve fingerprinting.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tutoring sessions to both small and large student groups.
• Adjust to new instructional materials and teaching methods.
• Maintain regular and clear communication with Study Smart Tutors personnel.
• Collaborate with the Education team to implement effective learning strategies.

Salary and Benefits

• $40 per hour for tutoring sessions.
• Paid Onboarding, Training, Preparation, and Support: $22.00 per hour.
