Job Summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a growing and dynamic organization with a social mission to provide hope, is looking for an Instructional Aide II to join our award-winning Special Education team. You will provide individualized support and guidance to Elementary students, improving their learning experiences and boosting classroom efficiency.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field.
  • Ability to obtain a California "Emergency 30 Day Sub Permit" within 90 days of hiring.
  • Possess or obtain a valid California state driver's license.
  • At least 3 years of prior experience working with children, ideally in a special education or behavioral health setting.
  • Familiarity with learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, or similar conditions.
  • Willingness to drive a company van and transport students.
  • Capability to obtain certification in company-approved crisis management training.

  1. Resume or CV detailing relevant experience.
  2. Proof of Bachelor's degree.
  3. DMV record (if applicable for driving responsibilities).
