Instructional Aide II
Starting Pay: USD 20 per hour
Work Setting: Special Education Program, Elementary School
Job Summary
Spectrum Center Schools and Programs, a growing and dynamic organization with a social mission to provide hope, is looking for an Instructional Aide II to join our award-winning Special Education team. You will provide individualized support and guidance to Elementary students, improving their learning experiences and boosting classroom efficiency.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field.
- Ability to obtain a California "Emergency 30 Day Sub Permit" within 90 days of hiring.
- Possess or obtain a valid California state driver's license.
- At least 3 years of prior experience working with children, ideally in a special education or behavioral health setting.
- Familiarity with learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, or similar conditions.
- Willingness to drive a company van and transport students.
- Capability to obtain certification in company-approved crisis management training.

- Proof of Bachelor's degree.
- DMV record (if applicable for driving responsibilities).
