Overview
The Senior Electrical Engineer contributes to company-wide initiatives aimed at optimizing the operation, performance, and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. This role is not suited for entry-level candidates and necessitates a minimum of ten years of relevant electrical experience. The salary range is $135,000 to $155,000 depending on experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least ten years of electrical experience within cement, construction materials, or similar manufacturing sectors.
- Extensive expertise in electrical design, power distribution, motors and motor controls, automation, instrumentation, and control systems.
- In-depth understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Willingness to travel to company facilities and other meeting locations.
- Must be a proactive individual capable of working both independently and collaboratively with plant and corporate staff.
Preferred: Professional Engineering license. Experience in cement, asphalt, ready mix, and aggregate plant operations.
Required Documentation
The successful candidate must undergo a post-offer, pre-employment physical examination, drug and alcohol screening, and background check. Certain positions require ongoing drug and alcohol testing as regulated by FMCSA.
