Overview

BMA Mechanical+ is looking for an Experienced Mechanical Designer. This position involves carrying out fundamental engineering tasks, developing design documentation, coordinating with regulatory bodies, and delivering construction administration support. Candidates should hold a BSME degree, technical degree, or equivalent professional experience, possess 3 to 5 years of field experience, and have a thorough understanding of California codes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of industry experience is mandatory.
• A BSME degree, technical degree, or equivalent demonstrating strong technical proficiency is required.
• Solid practical knowledge of AutoCAD and drafting skills are essential.
• Familiarity with current California codes and standards: California Mechanical Code, CALGreen Code, and California Energy Code.
• Proficiency in software including AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office 365.
• Strong abilities in time management and project prioritization.
• Training in BIM is advantageous but not mandatory; Revit MEP experience is preferred.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred.
• A mindset geared toward growth and continuous improvement.
