Overview

Romex Design is seeking a qualified on-site architect for residential and commercial projects located in Southern California. This is an in-office role — not remote or hybrid. The position involves hands-on permit processing and project management responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Practical experience obtaining permits is mandatory.
  • Must have personally submitted and secured permits for real projects.
  • Familiarity with municipal plan check procedures in Southern California.
  • Ability to work independently and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus, but not required.
