Overview
The House of Pontovi is looking for an experienced and proficient Interior Design Project Manager to become part of our team. The perfect candidate will oversee high-end residential and hospitality initiatives from initial concept to final execution, requiring exceptional organizational capabilities and the skill to juggle several major projects at once.
Primary Duties
- Project Planning and Implementation: Define project scope, create detailed schedules, manage tasks from initiation to completion, and monitor progress against quality standards.
- Budget and Financial Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring expenditures remain within constraints while maintaining design integrity.
- Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the main point of contact among clients, contractors, and vendors, building strong partnerships through clear and open communication.
- Documentation and Regulatory Adherence: Review project documents for accuracy, ensure compliance with codes, and handle submittals and requests for information.
- Team Leadership and Cooperation: Guide within a collaborative environment, communicate professionally, and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Problem Resolution and Quality Assurance: Identify potential project challenges, implement strategies to avoid delays, and provide final approval on designs to uphold excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Education and Background: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Proven track record of managing multiple interior design projects from concept through completion.
- Technical Proficiencies: Strong grasp of project management principles. Proficient in Google Drive, InDesign/Programma, and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or Studio Designer is advantageous. Must understand construction documents and building codes.
