Become part of a top-tier interior design studio located in Los Angeles. We are looking for a freelance professional with expertise in design and procurement, who is enthusiastic, committed, and excels in a creative, team-oriented atmosphere. This position demands strong project management abilities and the capacity to handle tasks independently.

Requirements

  • Proficient in both design and procurement, with a refined aesthetic and a solid grasp of practicality and budget control.
  • Personal style must be consistent with our design approach: modern, organic, textured, and livable (warm minimalism featuring layered neutral tones).
  • Extremely organized, self-driven, and skilled at independently managing schedules and tasks.
  • Effective at overseeing upward communication—shows initiative, communicates proactively, and moves projects forward with minimal oversight.
  • Client-focused, stays calm under stress, and is comfortable presenting ideas via Zoom, phone, email, or in person.

Skills and Tools

Required Skills:

  • Strong design judgment and capability to source furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with budget and aesthetic.
  • CAD (2D) expertise for creating floor plans, elevations, and scaled layouts.
  • Competent in using Google tools (Slides for mood boards, Sheets, Gmail/Drive) to organize projects.
  • Confident in taking on-site measurements and drafting floor plans.
  • Clear skills in both written and verbal communication.
  • Experience translating high-end designs to fit budget limitations.
  • Comfortable overseeing freelance assistants or interns.

Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of Photoshop or other visual editing software.
  • Familiarity with trade suppliers and design showrooms in Los Angeles.
