What this job truly involves:

You will ensure the company receives payments accurately and on time, while developing a system that functions smoothly without constant crisis management. You will:

• Lead a team of about 20 people and support their success beyond basic management
• Reorganize and simplify billing to ensure consistency and timeliness each week
• Monitor receivables closely and work to decrease overdue balances
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance systems, including future ERP upgrades
• Create more efficient processes so your team spends less time correcting errors and more time on meaningful tasks

What we are seeking (no exaggeration):

• You have over 7 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or accounting and understand the details thoroughly
• You have worked in a service or time and materials environment (high volume is beneficial)
• You are comfortable with ERP systems such as Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Workday, or similar
• You understand ASC 606, or at least remain calm when it is mentioned
• You are skilled in Excel and enjoy finding ways to improve efficiency
• You have previously led people and know how to hold a team accountable without causing burnout
