How You’ll Make an Impact

Evaluates individual insurance applications for property and casualty coverage, following guidelines for issuing policies on a standard or substandard basis. Decides whether to accept, adjust, or decline a risk by assessing the property’s value, location, usage, safety features, and other relevant information. Maintains regular contact with the field to collect data for making and defending underwriting decisions. This role does not have assigned production targets. May assist Senior Underwriters in servicing and managing accounts.

About You

Required: Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office. Behaviors: Detail-oriented, strong analytical abilities, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
