We operate a family-owned group of four small Mexican eateries and are looking for a dependable, experienced accountant to assist us in becoming better organized and pursuing growth in a more strategic manner.

Position Overview

As a hands-on, family-run enterprise, we are seeking a long-term partner to bring order and clarity to our financial operations. We require assistance transitioning from outdated methods to structured systems that allow us to understand our financial performance, enhance profitability, and support informed growth decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monthly bookkeeping and financial organization.
• Cost tracking and profit/loss analysis to identify where funds are being spent.
• Tax planning and general tax consultation.
• Implementation of improved, sustainable accounting systems.
• Creation of fundamental, comprehensible financial reports that we can utilize effectively.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience with restaurants or small businesses is preferred.
• Capability to explain financial concepts in a clear and simple manner.
• Proactive, trustworthy, and able to collaborate with a highly involved team.

Budget and Objective

Our budget is around $800 per month, though we are flexible in adjusting the scope based on the services you provide. Our goal is to secure a genuine advisor, not merely someone to handle the books.
