Salina is seeking a full-time Captain Server to join our front-of-house team. This position is perfect for an experienced hospitality professional who can provide polished service, set a strong example on the floor, and assist in guiding the team throughout service. The Captain Server is responsible for creating an elevated guest experience while maintaining excellent floor awareness, supporting service standards, and helping lead the team with professionalism, confidence, and a sense of urgency.
Responsibilities:
- Provide warm, polished, and attentive service
- Lead by example and assist in guiding the service team during each shift
- Maintain strong awareness of tables and oversee the flow of service within your section
- Share confident knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails with guests
- Facilitate team communication between the dining room, bar, host stand, and kitchen
- Support training, accountability, and service standards on the floor
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues professionally
- Complete opening, side work, and closing duties according to standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant is required
- Wine and service knowledge is preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Professional, polished, and guest-focused attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required
