Overview

Yeastie Boys is looking for a Truck Driver / Team Lead to take charge of a crew and oversee the day-to-day operations of a food truck. This role involves driving, leading a team, interacting with customers, and preparing food to ensure an outstanding customer experience. The candidate must be available for early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Background in food service, hospitality, or a comparable high-speed setting.
• Solid leadership and communication skills, with the capacity to effectively manage a team.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• A valid driver's license; experience operating commercial vehicles is a plus.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Driving and Truck Management: Safely operate the truck to and from the commissary. Conduct regular inspections, refuel, restock supplies, and keep the truck in excellent condition. Address and resolve any operational issues.
• Crew Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of 1-3 members. Educate the team on food preparation, customer service, and cleanliness protocols.
• Customer Interaction: Manage orders, process transactions, and guarantee customer satisfaction. Streamline order flow and handle customer traffic during busy periods.
• Food Prep and Service: Oversee food preparation and cooking to maintain quality and efficiency. Comply with all health and safety standards.
