Overview

McCall's Meat & Fish Co. is looking for a dependable and proactive Farmers Market Associate / Produce Team Member to assist with produce department operations at two store locations. This position includes weekly trips to farmers markets to guarantee the availability of fresh, premium produce items.

Requirements

• A current driver's license and dependable personal vehicle with consistent car access.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Previous experience in produce handling, grocery retail, or food procurement is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Comfort with handling cash and managing receipts or invoices.
• Strong verbal communication and people skills.
• A keen interest in local farming and sustainability is an advantage.

Schedule and Compensation

• Roughly 24 hours per week.
• Must be able to work early morning market trips (usually 1 to 2 days each week).
• Weekend availability is necessary.
• Willingness to travel between store sites as required.
