Overview

OyBar, recognized on Eater's list of 38 Essential Los Angeles Restaurants, is looking for skilled and motivated Line Cooks to join its dinner service team. This contemporary bar and bistro provides a dynamic, supportive, and high-paced kitchen atmosphere. Compensation begins at $20.00 per hour or more plus tips, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Professional culinary background (minimum 2 years in a high-volume kitchen preferred).
• Ease in working across multiple stations (Grill, Griddle, Saute).
• Full availability for dinner shifts (typical hours from 2 PM to 11 PM).
• Dependable transportation and consistent punctuality.
• Strong communication and collaborative abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Solid understanding of food safety, allergen management, and California Health and Safety Standards.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and remain active for up to 10 hours.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch for cleaning and task completion.
