Overview

Burger She Wrote is seeking dependable, team-focused Line Cooks for its upcoming Sherman Oaks location, scheduled to open in March 2026. We are recruiting for both morning and evening shifts, as well as full-time and part-time roles. Our operating hours are from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Some previous kitchen or fast-casual experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and manage high-volume service.
• Strong sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail.
• A team-first mindset and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare smash burgers consistently and quickly.
• Prep ingredients such as onions, sauces, and patties.
• Keep your station clean and organized throughout service.
• Adhere to food safety, labeling, and FIFO standards.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties, including griddle cleaning, fryer maintenance, restocking, and sanitation.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to maintain ticket flow and service times.
• Support daily prep and production needs.
