Overview
Pen Letters is seeking a Production Assistant to help with the print production of high-quality, handwritten cards and letters. This position involves working with robotic handwriting technology and preparing thousands of mail pieces each week. The role may become full-time for the right person.
Pay: $18 to $20 per hour, based on experience.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (8-hour shifts scheduled within this timeframe).
Responsibilities
- Prepare, package, and inspect handwritten cards and letters.
- Assist with mail preparation, labeling, and organizing outgoing mail trays.
- Support shipping and fundamental fulfillment tasks.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all orders.
- Help maintain an organized and well-stocked workspace.
- Assist the production team with daily operations.
Requirements
- Must be able to start immediately.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Able to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently.
- Positive attitude and comfort working within a small team.
- Prior fulfillment or production experience is helpful but not required.
