Behavior Therapist
Vista Center for Behavior Analysis offers compassionate behavior therapy to children and adults on the autism spectrum or with other related conditions. Through these therapeutic sessions, our clients gain essential social, emotional, behavioral, and practical skills that support them in achieving their goals.
Our Behavior Therapists serve as consistent, patient, and kind support professionals who work in clients' homes and communities, delivering one-on-one assistance through games, toys, and other engaging activities.
Overview
Deliver individualized ABA therapy to clients in home and community environments. This position involves executing therapy plans, recording data, and teaching fundamental life skills. We provide paid training, and no prior experience or degree is required to apply.
Details
- Hours: Weekdays from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Saturdays are optional. Primarily after-school hours, with additional availability in select areas and during school breaks.
- Pay: $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience and education.
- Location: Service areas include Los Angeles, Santa Clarita, San Fernando Valley, Antelope Valley, and the Inland Empire. You can work close to home, with drive time and mileage reimbursement provided between clients.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in their homes.
- Prepare session materials and gather data on client behaviors and skill acquisition targets.
- Apply evidence-based ABA methods to teach communication, social, self-care, and daily living skills.
- Carry out individualized behavior intervention plans.
- Complete session notes, reports, and obtain guardian signatures.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Reliable vehicle for transportation.
- Proof of legal residence or work authorization.
- LiveScan background check and current TB clearance.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Punctuality, excellent attendance, and receptiveness to feedback.
