PART-TIME DENTAL ASSISTANT (3 DAYS PER WEEK + 1 MONTHLY ORAL SURGERY DAY)

Overview

A contemporary and expanding dental office in North Hollywood is looking for an experienced, amiable, and dependable Dental Assistant to become part of our team on a part-time basis. This position offers an excellent chance to operate in a well-organized, fast-paced setting with a supportive group and a predictable timetable.

Schedule

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• Plus the first Thursday of each month (oral surgery day with a visiting oral surgeon)

Requirements

• Prior dental assisting experience is required
• Strong proficiency in chairside assisting, including four-handed dentistry techniques
• Experience with digital X-rays, with Panorex familiarity preferred
• Professional, punctual, and collaborative approach
• Exceptional communication abilities
• Knowledge of Dentrix software is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance for general dentistry procedures, such as fillings, crowns, and extractions
• Prepare and dismantle treatment rooms as needed
• Capture digital X-rays
• Manage sterilization and infection control protocols
• Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout
• Support oral surgery procedures on designated days
• Contribute to preventive care workflows and assist with hygiene-related tasks under the supervision of the doctor
• Operate comfortably in both assisting and hygiene-support capacities

Compensation
