Caregiver Position

Job Types: Part-time and Full-time

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Service areas include Glendale, Burbank, Hollywood, North Hollywood, Northridge, Pasadena, Covina, Monrovia, Gardena, Los Angeles, and Altadena)

Overview

Home Care Help is a non-medical home care company seeking experienced and compassionate Caregivers to support individuals and autistic young people in their homes. We provide excellent care for those with developmental disabilities, helping them with daily living activities with dignity and compassion.

Hiring Bonus: 1,000 USD for Full Time and 500 USD for Part Time.

Requirements

• Must have HCA registration with the State of California (we can help you obtain it).
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US and be at least 18 years of age.
• Must complete a Criminal Background Check (clearance from FBI and DOJ).
• Must have TB clearance and pass a Health Screening.
• Must have a Valid Driver's License, personal vehicle, and car insurance.
• Must be able to work some weekends.
• For working with autistic/behavioral young clients: CPI/DSP 1,2 - Required.
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification (Preferable, but acquiring it is a requirement).
• Previous experience in caregiving, home/community care, memory care, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or using a Hoyer lift is preferred.
• Be in good physical condition.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (dressing, grooming, bathing, personal hygiene).
• Provide care, supervision, and report to a supervisor.
• Collaborate with clients and families for optimal care.
• Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders and respite care.
