Overview
This is a key leadership role within a line-focused team, aimed at enhancing equipment reliability, refining maintenance strategies, and minimizing unplanned downtime. The position integrates data analysis, engineering expertise, and practical collaboration to boost plant performance, safety, and cost effectiveness.
Requirements
- Education/Certification: Preference for an engineering degree from an accredited institution or substantial relevant experience and expertise.
- Experience: At least three years of experience as a maintenance or production supervisor, ideally within a mature TPM or IWS setting. Experience with ODR or PM pillars is preferred.
- Engagement in and comprehension of daily directional setting (DDS) and Operational Reviews.
- Demonstrated history of achieving systemic improvements in results through leadership and system ownership.
- Expert-level understanding of mechanical systems, World Class Manufacturing Systems, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Journey-level proficiency in statistical analysis, project management, PC software, and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Competence in managing projects, leading and coaching hands-on, collaborating across functions, and solving problems analytically.
- Capability to enhance skills across varied teams, influence leaders at all levels, and motivate colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel by airplane and automobile.
Leadership/Supervisory Responsibility
Direct oversight of Mechanic(s). Indirect support for Operators.

- Adherence to productivity and quality standards, along with robust Daily Management Systems.
- Maximization of equipment availability and extension of component technical life.
- Efficient and cost-effective maintenance operations.
- Completion of in-depth analyses, coaching, and quality assurance.
- Progress in GPS Phase and meeting project or assignment standards.
- Cost control through monitoring maintenance spending (parts and labor) and capital expenditures.
- Collaboration within and across departments.
- Customer satisfaction and effective vendor relationships.
