Overview

Carlo, Inc. is looking for a proactive, sales-focused Part-Time Community Manager to oversee a 24-unit apartment property. This is a live-in position, where you will operate from a provided apartment. The role emphasizes leasing, tenant relations, and property management, requiring weekend availability. Total compensation consists of an hourly wage along with a housing allowance.

Requirements

  • At least one (1) year of experience in sales or leasing with a proven ability to close deals.
  • Must be able to work weekends and maintain a flexible schedule.
  • A strong credit history is mandatory.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with Yardi, Spotlifecenter, and California Fair Housing Laws is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service abilities.
  • Professional demeanor, cheerful outlook, and a collaborative approach.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Must be willing to undergo a credit and background check.
  • This is a pet-free apartment.

Compensation and Details

  • Base Pay: $17.87 per hour.
  • Apartment: 1 Bedroom / 1 Bathroom (Market value: $2,085 per month).
  • Housing Allowance Deduction: $628 per month is applicable.
  • Equivalent Pay Range*: $31.88 per hour (includes estimated net rental value).
  • Bonus Program: Minimum of $75 for each approved lease.
  • Schedule: 4 hours per day, totaling 24 hours per week. Day Off: Sunday.
